Life gets complicated. Faith doesn’t exempt us from grief, relationship challenges, difficult decisions, unexpected transitions, or seasons when we simply don’t know what to do next. Sometimes you need a safe place to talk it through.

Availability is based on the nature of the concern, our pastoral team’s availability, and whether the requested support falls within the scope of our ministry.
Pastoral care and biblical counseling are part of our ministry to the New Revelations Church family and are available to NRC members at no charge.
NRC MEMBERS
Through NRC Community Care, limited pastoral care and biblical counseling appointments may be available to individuals, couples, and families who are not members of New Revelations Church.

OUR APPROACH
Our approach is biblically grounded, distinctly Christian, and informed by pastoral care principles, relevant education, training, and experience. We integrate Scripture, prayer, spiritual formation, thoughtful conversation, and practical guidance to support the whole person as they navigate life’s challenges.
We believe meaningful and lasting transformation occurs through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

UNDERSTANDING THE SCOPE OF CARE
Our pastoral care providers bring ministry experience, education, specialized training, and pastoral care competencies to the care they provide. Care is offered within the scope of each provider’s training, experience, and ministry role.
NRC Pastoral Care & Biblical Counseling is distinct from licensed clinical mental health services and does not provide psychological or psychiatric diagnosis or clinical mental health treatment. When a need extends beyond our scope of care, we may recommend additional support from a licensed mental health professional or another qualified provider.

CONFIDENTIALITY
We respect the personal and sensitive nature of pastoral care conversations and seek to maintain confidentiality to the fullest extent appropriate and permitted by law.
Confidentiality may be limited in situations involving suspected abuse or neglect, threats of serious harm to self or others, or other circumstances in which disclosure may be legally or ethically necessary.

BEGIN THE CONVERSATION
If pastoral care through NRC is appropriate for your needs, you will receive our Pastoral Care intake & informed Consent information to complete before your first session.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
NRC members receive pastoral care at no charge. Limited Community Care appointments are also available to nonmembers.
Submitting a request does not guarantee an appointment or establish a pastoral care relationship. NRC does not provide emergency or crisis mental health services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 911 or seek appropriate emergency assistance.
